About the Artist
Fort Worth based artist, Vincent Andrews, has been adapting his practice to incorporate new and old skillsets in ways that continue to inform the content of his work. For years he’s been developing sculpture from an architectural angle, focused on utilizing the element of function to activate viewers in ways that force them to reconsider the spaces they experience every day. Most recently, he incorporated photography to help frame the vision of bringing vernacular architecture to life.
Vincent is committed to continually adding layers to his body of work, expanding its creativity and social content. He’s not interested in creating work to sit on a pedestal or hang on a wall, but art that leaves the viewer with a better awareness and understanding of their own relationship to space.
